Aaaaaah!! Could not go to B'lore 'coz of a Monster - My boss!!!

Spoke to Mnssk after quite some time. Feels good to spend time wid friends!!!! - aah! Zindagi ki choti choti khushiyaan!!! Been dipriving myself of'em of late I guess!! Learnt Ravika and VaKiBa Also Blog. Got all da links -> There on da rite.

Waiting for it to be May 30th so that I get myself a better monstor and a brand new Monstors Inc.

Its 22:38 on Sunday nite and I'm still in the lab!! Need to get myself a life!!! - oh yeah. Sure - after May 30th.

Saw Chandoos blog thru Anil's. Chandoo Shares it with his gf!! I'm too tired to give it a thought and form an opinion abt this!!

orkut is another diversion in life of late as if I was totally free :( But orkut sure does rock! ThanX Shameek.

Current diversions in my Life -> PG, orkut, Monstors Inc ( oh yeah! Thats more of a diversion it looks ;) ), Community service, friends - lots of sets of'em.

On top of all this my dearest FYP!!!

I think I need add a philosphical dimension to my line of thought. "line" of thought? No. thought is a point in N-d space - origin is the condition of beta waves in the brain and my cluster of thought-points are never too close for me to call_it_a_cluster_and_still_be_fair. The "time" dimension scatters'em too much! And what was that supposed to mean?

Was watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S in da morning - 10th Season. Joey && Phoebe - I love'em and when they are togehter on screen.

After the big drama last morning, the political stage promises a nailbiting finish the next week. Hoping thats its actually a finish and not another start!! Tomorrow, here I come..

Looking for Volunteers in Hyd for Community Service. We need more Volunteeeeeeers!! Volunteers can teach children / teach teachers / contribute to the news letter / LOTS of other things.

Goin' to meet MVF guyz tomorrow. Hyd is too hot. I'm evaporating... Thought: Why Title?

Monday - Work Work Work so far - that xplains this blog - spurts of
unorganized strings.

Nothing much happened on the MVF front.

Sharpening my culinary skills. Looks like a good way to look forward to days ahead - when I would have to live alone and cook my own food.

Went to something_they_wanted_to_call_a_concert on the weekend. It was mind-blowingly awful. I was walkin' away from where I was sittin' to call up my Bro' and slipped over algae. Glad that I had to leave to change. But for the intro wid Mr. Kartik, everything was a flop that evening.

Went to the performance by Euphoria last nite - lake side. Shameek refused to come along :(. It was a good start with their hindi-numbers. As the evening progressed, they seem to have thought they can play much better music and went on to mimic some American bands and thats when the whole thing got intolerable. Then, Amit n I pampered ourselves to a kewl dinner - Made up for Euphoria's Angrezi numbers

A few stories about the Kids and Experiences

Ramesh - does not know his age. Must be 6-7 years old. Used to carry logs.

Another guy - I asked him why he did not go home for vacation. He did not reply. When I asked him where his parents live, he says - they are dead. This guy was 5-6 years old.

Another guy - used to work at a small hotel. Wanted to study to be able to recognize boards and get a driving licence.

A gal - She used to work @ a retired DSP's place in Hyd. They used to beat her up. She dialed random phone numbers all the time when no one was at home to ask people the phone number of the Cheif Minister ( she saw an election campaign in which the CM said he'll get children study ). When a politician came to campaign @ retd. DSP's place she took his phone number from him . She used to call him up for a week but then he never responded. Finally a lady on a "random" number called up a TV channel (TV9) who traced the location and they came wid the crew and police. They rescued the gal. She then guided them to her the place where her sister was a bonded labour. This gal was 12 years old and one of the most confident gals of her age some of us have seen.

There were many more kids who were rescued from bonded labour - some were into domestic help, working in hotels, carrying in logs, working in agriculture, working as shepards, working with stone, etc. They were all really young and full of innocence and energy.

We spoke to a representative to get an idea about what MVF does and interacted with a few children. We asked them a few questions and pradyumna was really happy that a kid culd spell his name correctly. He pointed to shameek and told the kid - go and ask him the spelling of my name - even he cannot come up with da correct spelling

Those of us who knew Telugu could speak to more people. Amit, Shameek and Ashish were the ones who needed continous translation.

Yet to digest all this and give it a thought.

time to blog or even if I have the time, I'ld have enuf motivation to blog.

My belley botton can do this coding @ office. FYP - yeah - thats the 
agenda for the next 20 days. Got to be done with it. Got a chance to make all the calculations. 
40-60 Man hours should complete my FYP. I was all excited about it even 2 months ago. 
The "changes" and "enhancements" sapped me of all the enthu I guess.

The story so far:
	Born. An Increase in height and weight over years. A lil' formal education 
( - "lil'" has always been at the horizon ) is supposed to have nurtured me with some logic.
Logic - that reminds me :
   "logic is an art to be wrong with confidence" 
I find that funny. Looks like "The Horizon" is getting closer now - AGAIN. 
Working as an Intern. All excited about reporting for my FIRST job after 34 days from today. 

"Lots of spelling mistakes" - tarantula told me last evening. ThanX for the feedback. I must admit I've not always done wonders with spelling or even grammer. Lemme be slightly more careful now and make use of the spell checker. Now, in the begining, if the blog makes sense, I'ld call that "A good start". 3rd day of blogging :). Looks like I can do this regularly - thought not daily.

Last evening, things took a turn and I had to plan for the next 5 years!!! Realised its not half as easy as it sounds. No happy path there since I donno the target. @last came up with a game tree. Whew!! That was one hell of a brain storming with a few career and personal decisions to make.

After this session last evening, I thought "I'll blog it". Then I realised last 3 days have had three different "themes" - something I mite not have realised if I did not blog'em - joys of blogging..eh? :)

Today morning my boss gave me a task to be done by EOD. I was full of enthu and so wrote a script to do'em and mailed the output before lunch and went to meet up wid him. He says "I was about to send you a mail about this.. The task that I gave you was a mistake. Its not required to be done" !! Whew! Then went out on a lunch-treat a while ago - with Tripathi and Prady. "MBA" was again the topic of d'cussion... and as usual it lead to "what do you want to do finally?" - Thought nothing out of the world, it was good to hear about what ppl plan.

Tripathi is moving out this Saturday and was quite psenti about it. Its tuf to see people leave packing their bag and baggage - much more than leaving. This makes it tuf to go to the college campus now-a-days - joys of last few days on da campus. I also got my tickets booked to avail of the 30-day concession inspite of the reimbursement - Kewl !! I'm a good gal :).

Moi - member of a forum thats planning to "Pay back" to the society. The forum has arnd 5000 members across india. Some opine that "education" is the common chord that connects us. So, we should work on "education" related projects in all da cities - like teaching the underprivilaged, etc. I was of the opinion - we should let each city decide its own project. If people do not do what interests them, work cannot be sustained for too long. But then, no one frm nyother city seems to be taking ny initiative. So, now it looks rite that we start off with "education" as the theme across the nation. That would give other cities a direction to start their work. We can branch out in about 6 months time. After some initial chaos, a couple of guyz went to a meeting of NGOs. Got the first bouts of fruitfulness.

Yesterday was a big day. Met Ms. Shantha Sinha, Secretary Trustee, MV Foundation, a Ramon Magsaysay Award winner. Her passion for her work was awesome. She was speaking about child labour, full time education among children and other related things. She spoke some of the most sensible sentences I heard in the recent past.

Not poverty causes child labour but child labour causes poverty - quite convinced about that now.

She suggested we go on a field visit and see the camps where children that the foundation has withdrawn from child labour are put up. Prolly if we see some activities, we'll have a more clear picture and we'ld know how to proceed. However, there are a few issues to resolve - how would we maintain the identity of the forum if we tie-up?, how exactly can we initiate this kinda work in other cities? Seeing the way the whole "Community Service" thingie is unfolding, these mite not major issues afterall.

Excited abt the field visit thing the coming sunday. Quite content with last evening's meet.
